For producing the plastic caps, the injection molding
system is the traditional way and Plastic
just worked with this system in the past years while
we are already seeking the better solution for our
customers. In 2011, Smargon launch the brandnew
product, SMCM (cap compression molding
system) for plastic closures, a new alternative
solution for our customers who need to produce the
caps.
Controlled by Siemens PLC, actions carried out by
the Omron frequency convertors, YUKEN hydraulic
rotary compression system & hydraulic mold
open/close system, the special designed extruder
with efficiency heating unit, plus our huge
experience in the caps’ injection molding & concern
on closures development and testing ensures
extremely high level of this new product suitability.
In one words, SMCM cap compression molding
system can offer you an advantage within the
compression in terms of lower production costs and
product better quality.
Less Energy Consumption
Lower heating temperatures required in the
plasticization in the cap compression and
accordingly the energy consumption of the heating
elements will be less. As the result, the cooling
requirement for heat occurred is less. So, low heat
energy requirement and low cooling energy
requirement make overall energy savings per cap
produced can be as high as 45% comparing with
that by injection molding.
Products Have No Gate
Due to there is no injection point in the compression
molding, it bring a flat surface in the cap product,
which guarantees better aesthetic appearance and
printing results.
At the same time, also due to no injection point,
there is no strain put on the molten resin to be
formed under the high pressure, the molding
pressure for cap forming being equal, which
provides mechanical properties and a consistency

SIC-A series of air-cooled industrial Chillers use a single closed-loop design for pressurised refrigerant and are intended for plastic industry. The precision temperature control is required when cooling mold temperature to achieve higher quaility of the product surface finish lower cycle time. The compact and moveable characteristics are best for machine side cooling. Working under the basic principle of heat exchange, they are mostly used with industrial processes that require flow of precisely controlled chilled water. The high pressure water pump with large flow is available for PET preform injection process.
